“L’Inconnue De La Rue” by RONE, opening night

Sooo, I wasn’t there at 5:59 as I claimed I would be.  I was at the much-less-glamorous Greensborough train station.  Some dodge-looking people round those parts.

Anyway,  I got to Backwoods Gallery about 6:45 and it wasn’t too packed, mainly because all the free beer had run out by that time.  There was still too many people for me to get a chance to chat to him, so Rone if you ever read this, nice show dude.

Each “billposter” layer was screenprinted by Rone himself, and while I’m sure he’s experienced enough at screenprinting to knock them out at a pretty fast rate, it looks like it would still have taken quite a long time to do.

Rone’s exhibition runs until June 26.
