I want to buy the Vine Hotel
The Vine is for sale. I am afraid it’s going to be turned into units or offices or something equally as shiteous. Sure I don’t have that much money, but if lots of us chipped in, surely we could afford it?
Who wants to chip in to buy the Vine with me??
It has four bedrooms so we can all live above the pub.
Just think – 24 HOUR ACCESS TO BOOZE DOWNSTAIRS.
The residential kitchen looks new and there is a outdoor hottub in the residential part too.

Totally, you pay for the bills and groceries, and sleep out on the decking. Big bedroom is MINE!
This reminds me of one afternoon at lunch with Ryan, Chris and Vim. Someone mentioned that the Fox and Fiddle was for sale and we went off on a flight of fancy about how cool would it be to own a pub and do it up to our tastes.
Somewhere along the way the conversation started to get more serious, but then sanity prevailed. It was like it simultaneously dawned on all of us that owning a pub would be like putting Hunter S. Thompson in charge of the medicine cabinet at a psychiatric clinic.
Aaaaaaaand that’s bad why..?
It won’t be turned into offices or apartments. It will remain a pub. I know the people who bought it.
Any word on whats happening to it? Is it just staying the way it is?
How much do they want for it?
