Boatspotting

A rare warm, sunny – yet not windy! – Melbourne spring day.  Must go to the beach!  I visited Sandringham for the first time today.  Much quieter and cleaner than St Kilda.  I will definitely be back.

Also, I really want to learn how to sail.

  1. Head down to Hobsons Bay yacht club or Royal Melbourne in St Kilda. Both are really friendly clubs close to town. They love having new people come along for a sail. A lot of people think yacht clubs are really snooty places and while that element does exist in some clubs, most people in them are pretty down to earth. Go for it!
