Larundel revisit part 2 – the art and words of Larundel
There’s a lot of ever-changing art at Larundel – mostly tags, but some interesting characters you may have also seen around on the streets. There are also the “words of wisdom”, as I like to call them.
Some of the pieces have been there for a number of years. Most of these ones are a few years old.

Sure is, it’s in the process of being redeveloped but that will take while. All the info you need can be found on google 🙂

I’m not very impressed of these defaced building photos I spent 6months in that ward and have good memories of this place this is sad not only me but others who were there there weren’t any spirits in that building it was home to a lot of people many are still alive like me but I did hate the place I was only 15 years at the time. We were people with problems is that a crime or a joke. Gci

It was back in 72 when I was 15 I was admitted as a involoutary and later a voluntary patient.we were treated really well .
Ifondley remember seeking out of the Dom late at night to raid the kitchen for the fruitcake
In a funny and good way.upstairs above B ward was then the white house it was the first drug rehab to be opened in Victoria.
Thier were coffee nightsI the surroundings were well kept . when we woke up at 6am we had too clean the ward before breakfast then had group s durning the day everyday..at the back of B ward was occupionable therapy could make candles leather work etc we even had music therapy.
And movie nights .the canteen would open at 10.00 . they even had industrial therapy . .I had memories Isee the end of larundel today is n’t pretty what’s been done to it.their aren’t ghosts in B ward but I did see a ghost of a woman in S2 dorm one night l.these are my memories now and all those days are the ghosts of larundel.I say if the place is haunted its because the past souls from the cemetery moved in when people moved out. good bye to the past and hello to the future too larundel. Hi Ginnie, thanks for your message! I’m glad to hear you had good experiences there and have happy memories of your stay. It’s a shame that the buildings fell victim to negligence and vandalism, I think more should have been done to preserve. If you have any more stories or memories you would like to share please do!
